Meet Heather Hart
Hello, District 66! The Harts have been living in Fort Mill for X years and we feel so fortunate to have raised our sons in this wonderful community and school district. That said, we’ve watched Tega Cay and Fort Mill explode in population — with taxpayers carrying the brunt of the burden! — and are concerned about our lack of serious leadership in the statehouse.
I decided to run because it is important to have a leader in Columbia who can build bipartisan support to protect our interests and get our growing community what it needs.
Among my top priorities are:
Protecting Public Education and ensuring our public dollars stay in our public schools
Strengthening Public Safety and seeing to it that closed door deals don’t pose unnecessary risk to our residents’ health, well-being or quality of life
Fixing Our Roads, shortening construction projects, and keeping our community beautiful
It is also very important to me to model unity, respect, and a commitment to representing everyone — regardless of their politics. Nothing will preserve community, relationships, or small town charm more than that!
